The Vietnam Cleaner Production Centre (VNCPC) was established in 1998 through a UNIDO project with Hanoi University of Science and Technology, funded by the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs. It advises Vietnamese manufacturers on resource-efficient and cleaner production, energy efficiency assessments and audits, greenhouse gas inventories and emissions reduction, eco-industrial park development, green finance and ESG reporting. VNCPC serves as Vietnam's focal point in the UNIDO-UNEP network for disseminating cleaner production in industry.
