Trung Nam Group, founded in Ho Chi Minh City in 2004, started in construction before expanding into hydropower, solar and wind energy. Its projects include the 450 MW Trung Nam Thuan Nam solar plant and the 400 MW Ea Nam wind farm, the largest onshore wind project in Vietnam, and it is the only private Vietnamese company operating a 500kV substation connected to the national grid.
