Tropical Space was founded by architects Nguyen Hai Long and Tran Thi Ngu Ngon and is based in Ho Chi Minh City. The practice is known for brickwork architecture using cost- and energy-efficient, locally sourced materials designed to respond to Vietnam's tropical climate, and received the 2022 Rice Design Alliance Spotlight Award, the first time a Vietnamese firm won the honor.
