Phu My Hung was established in 1993 as a joint venture between Tan Thuan Industrial Development and Phu My Hung Asia Holdings, and developed over 2,600 hectares south of Ho Chi Minh City along Nguyen Van Linh Parkway into what is referenced as a national model for urban development. The masterplan, shaped by global designers including Skidmore Owings & Merrill, preserved the natural canal system and set green space per capita well above the city average, with the company now describing a shift toward smart city and ecological development goals.
