MPE (Manh Phuong Electric), founded in 1999 in Ho Chi Minh City, manufactures LED lighting and electrical equipment. Its roughly USD 85 million smart factory at Xuyen A Industrial Zone in Duc Hoa, opened in March 2023, is certified LEED Gold by the US Green Building Council. The plant runs 1.99 MWp of rooftop solar generating around 2,500 MWh a year and uses sensor-controlled LED lighting throughout, cutting electricity use by 45.58 percent.
