MKL Vietnam was founded in 2018 to collect used cooking oils and waste residues from industrial food processors and restaurants that would otherwise be discarded, offering 24/7 collection logistics from its Ho Chi Minh City base. The company exports the collected material to international buyers for conversion into biodiesel and has expanded its product line to include inedible tallow and fish fats. MKL Vietnam holds ISCC sustainability certification obtained in June 2019.
