Hachi Vietnam High Tech Joint Stock Company started as a student project from Hanoi University of Science and Technology and the Vietnam National University of Agriculture, and applies IoT technology to hydroponic and greenhouse farming systems. Its systems automatically monitor temperature, humidity and light through environmental sensors, controlling irrigation, misting and shading via a smartphone app. Hachi has deployed farms in Bac Ninh, Vung Tau, Da Lat and Phu Quoc, and its founder Dang Xuan Truong was recognized among Hanoi's outstanding young people in 2018.
