Ha Giang Responsible Tourism is a cooperative founded in 2014 by the Tay ethnic minority community of Thon Tha village, Phuong Do, offering homestays, trekking and motorbike tours while selling local handicrafts. It operates as a registered local social business, keeps farming as the primary livelihood for host families, and trains local guides with support from partner social enterprises. Thon Tha was recognized as a Cultural Tourism Village by the Ha Giang provincial authorities in 2024.
