Ecosilky was founded in 2019 by Son Vu, who researched and developed technology to turn agricultural byproducts such as banana stems, pineapple leaves and lotus stems into wearable natural fabrics. The company works with traditional craft villages across Vietnam to produce lotus silk, banana fabric and related textiles, and also offers organic dyeing and printing using natural ingredients. Finished products include ao dai, apparel, scarves and home textiles made from these fibers.
