Cat Loi Cashew Oil Production and Export Joint Stock Company was established in 2013 and operates factories in Thien Tan, Dong Nai Province and Phu Rieng, Binh Phuoc Province. It processes waste cashew nut shells into cashew nut shell liquid (CNSL), cashew nut shell extract and cardanol, a phenolic compound used as a bio-based feedstock for resins, coatings and friction materials in place of petrochemical alternatives.
