ViCo Circle is a monthly conversation-based gathering for working professionals and entrepreneurs building a more resilient and sustainable future for Vietnam at the ViCo Community. We exchange knowledge across diverse topics: from urban regeneration, circular economy, and food systems to working culture, brand-building, and financing impact-driven projects. This is because sustainability is systemic and integrated. ViCo Circle is kept intentionally small, 15 to 25 people; so that after listening to our guest speakers, there is real time to talk, ask questions, and build genuine and quality connections with others in the room.
The "S" in ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) tends to get less attention than the other two letters, existing in policy documents and reporting frameworks rather than talked about directly. But it is where a lot of the real change is happening. As Vietnam's economy grows and its labour market grows with it, more women are stepping into leadership, and a good number of them are building businesses oriented toward sustainability.
In celebration of Vietnamese Women's Day, ViCo brings you this month's Circle, with two guest speakers who work at the intersection of sustainable finance and social impact, women who have spent real time thinking about what it means to fund and build a more equitable economy.
Come with your questions about what ESG looks like from the inside, your curiosity about sustainable finance, or your own experience navigating this field as a woman. Whether you work in finance, in sustainability, or somewhere adjacent and simply want to understand the space better, there is a seat for you here.
